I am a software engineer mostly focused on web development. I have over 8 years of experience in working with startups and established companies across various industries, including medical, e-commerce, and SaaS.
My approach to software development centers around writing clean and simple code that is easy to maintain and scale.

Claude Code is open next to my editor most of the day, and Copilot fills in the small stuff as I type. Here's what I use each one for.

Projects

Medical reporting app
While at BrainIT, I worked as a frontend developer on a web application for writing, viewing and managing medical examination reports. Took part in a full redesign of the application and helped build an AI voice feature that transcribes dictation and generates report notes.

As the sole frontend developer at Roko Labs, I built the frontend of an AI-powered chatbot that lets companies search through their internal documents using natural language. Also contributed to the Python (FastAPI) backend.

How do you charge?
It depends on the work. Ongoing work is billed hourly, and well-defined projects can be done for a fixed price agreed up front. Either way, we agree on scope and budget before I start.
Can you join our existing team?
Yes. I can join your team as an extra senior engineer and work within your tools, processes and code reviews, or take a project from start to finish on my own.
Do you take short projects or only long-term work?
Both. Anything from a few weeks for a well-scoped feature to long-term contracts lasting months.
Which timezones do you work with?
I'm based in Croatia (CET) and work with teams across Europe. I can also overlap a few hours with the US East Coast.
